Aradhya Foundation and ICDS Solapur Join Hands to Improve Nutrition Among Mothers and Children’s
Solapur, Maharashtra – Aradhya Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting preterm babies and their families, collaborated with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Solapur, to organize a unique Haldi Kumkum program. The event aimed to promote nutrition and health among pregnant and lactating women, as well as malnourished children, in urban Solapur.
The program, held on 28th January 2025, witnessed the distribution of essential nutrition supplements to beneficiaries. The supplements included Kharik, Matki, Mug, Chana, soyachunk, Banana, and Bitroit, among others. These supplements are crucial in improving the nutrition and weight of malnourished children.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Ms. Vijaya Mahajan, Professor of Social Work at Walchand College, and Mr. Deepak Dhepe, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) from ICDS. The Aradhya Foundation team was also present to support the initiative.
