Supplemental Nutrition & Awareness Program for Pregnant & New Mothers in Garibi Hatav Jhopadpatti Zone No. 1, Vijapur Naka, Solapur
 
Aradhya Foundation, in collaboration with ICDS Poshan Abhiyan, Aanganwadi Sevikas, and ASHA workers, organized a comprehensive nutrition and health awareness program for pregnant and new mothers in Garibi Hatav Jhopadpatti Zone No. 1, Vijapur Naka.
 
The program aimed to promote Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal Care (PNC) practices, ensuring the well-being of mothers and newborns. Key initiatives included:
•⁠  ⁠Distribution of supplemental nutrition food to pregnant and lactating women
•⁠  ⁠Awareness sessions on ANC and PNC, emphasizing regular health check-ups and proper nutrition
•⁠  ⁠Interactive workshops on healthy eating habits, hygiene, and childcare practices
 
Ms. Vahida Sayyed, along with Mr. Vitthal Halsangi and Tarun Vilasagar, MSW students from Walchand College and representatives of Aradhya Foundation, stated, “Empowering mothers with knowledge and resources is crucial for a healthy start for their children. We appreciate ICDS Poshan Abhiyan and frontline workers’ support.”
